Travel Alert: Lane restrictions scheduled in Yuma on Highway 95
The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for lane restrictions on Highway 95 in Yuma beginning Tuesday, November, 13, at 7:30 a.m.
Work is scheduled to occur between Avenue 11E (milepost 34) and milepost 74.
Crews are scheduled for crack seal application work in the 40-mile work zone.
Drivers should plan for the following restriction scheduled to be in place through Friday, November, 30:
US 95 will be reduced to one lane Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Restrictions will be lifted from Wednesday, November 21, through Friday, November 23, because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Motorists should anticipate a two-mile lane closure daily as workers move through the 40-mile work zone. Flaggers and a pilot truck will be on site to direct motorists through the work zone. A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. ADOT says travelers should allow extra travel time.
Drivers should obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
