Boat on fire in Yuma resident’s backyard
Rural Metro Fire Department responded to a boat fire in a Yuma resident’s backyard Thursday morning at around 8:12 a.m.
When crew personnel arrived at the scene they also discovered that the grass surrounding the boat was also on fire and had to upgrade the assignment.
The fire happened in the area of 8586 S Mojave Ln.
Personnel was on the scene for a while with an overhaul.
No injuries were reported.
