One final early ballot count in Yuma County before Election Day

There’s just one day to go before voters turn to the polls to make their voices heard.

Newly updated numbers reveal how many early ballots have already been submitted and counted in Yuma County.

According to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office, 23,546 early ballots have been counted in Yuma.

Breaking down those numbers, 43 percent (10,187) of early ballots counted are Republican. While 33 percent (7,761) are Democratic.

The data also reveals how early ballots are unaffiliated. Voters who are unaffiliated or undecided make up 23 percent (5,463) of voters in Yuma County.

According to the data, the median age of voters in Yuma is 64 years old.
