Hope Center Church hosts weekend shipwrecked-themed bible study

While kids enjoy Fall break this year, the Hope Center Church has plenty of activities this weekend during its shipwrecked-themed bible study.

Pastor Renee Rodriguez encourages kids to take part in the vacation bible study that takes place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

“The theme is very ‘islandy’ and very ship based, you’ll see some fish and ocean type things,” Rodriguez said. “It is going to be a very good time for the kids to come.”

The event is meant for ages four to 12. There will be outdoor games, music, arts and crafts, tropical treats, imagination stations, and bible discoveries.

The Hope Center Church is located at 770 W 7th St in Yuma.
