Walmart recalls about 246,000 axes
Walmart is recalling around 246,000 axes that sold nationwide after receiving reports of a possible safety hazard.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said received two reports of the Ozark Trail camp axes’ heads detached from the handle, posing an injury hazard.
The Ozark Trail camp axes were sold exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide and online from January 2017 through July 2018 for around $8, the agency said.
