Calling all photographers! Your work could be featured in ADOT’s magazine

If you find yourself taking pictures, whether professionally or as an amateur, you may have a chance to be featured in the Arizona Department of Transportation’s magazine, Arizona Highways through a new contest.

For the past 93 years, professional photographers have been featured in the ADOT-produced magazine.

This contest has three different categories.

Landscapes Wildlife Macro All photos must show Arizona.

“The photo contest is a wonderful way for photographers to celebrate Arizona,” said Arizona Highways Photo Editor Jeff Kida.

Kida will judge the entries based on the quality of composition, framing, light, and an overall “wow” factor.

First prize is an in-state photo workshop with a value of $2,500. Second and third place winners will receive prize packages from Tempe Camera valued at both $500 and $250.
