Check out which Arizona museums are waiving admission fees on Saturday
To celebrate Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day, more than 1,900 art museums, science centers and other institutions across the nation are waiving their admission fees on September 22.
Museum Day is a one-day event where institutions provide a free ticket, allowing participants to download one ticket per email address.
If you want to take part, all you have to do is download your ticket from the Museum Day website. The ticket is good for you and a guest.
The website also allows you to search for any museum in your state or city. Find out if nearby museums are participating here.
A few locations in Arizona include the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa, Arizona History Museum in Tucson, and Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.
