Adult Suicide Prevention 101
On Wednesday, September 19, the Main Library will host “Adult Suicide Prevention 101” at 6:00 p.m. in Meeting Room A. Julie Mack, Cenpatico Suicide Prevention Specialist, will discuss suicide as a national and local public health problem, how to recognize someone at risk of suicide, and common myths and facts surrounding suicidal behavior. There is no charge to attend.

Foothills Library Birthday
On Thursday, September 20, the Foothills Library is celebrating its 10th birthday! Join us at 12:00 p.m. for light refreshments and find out what’s new at your library. There is no charge to attend this family-friendly event.

Hispanic Heritage Month
On Saturday, September 22, families are invited to the Wellton Library to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! There is no charge to attend.
At 1:00 p.m., create and decorate dolls for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Halloween. Hot glue guns will be used. Ages 10 and older welcome.
At 3:00 p.m., play lotería (bingo) with your family, friends, and library staff! Children ages 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
