UPDATE: I-8 eastbound reopens west of Gila Bend after semi fire

UPDATE:

Interstate 8 eastbound has reopened, according the ADOT.

An earlier semi fire had closed one direction of the highway at milepost 112. Eastbound lanes were affected.

A semi fire has closed Interstate 8 eastbound about three miles west of Gila Bend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

There is no estimated time to reopen westbound lanes. Eastbound lanes are unaffected.
