YUHSD fair coming October 2

Yuma Union High School District is holding its annual college, career and military fair on Tuesday, October 2, at Cibola High School.

The fair rotates between campuses each year and is open to all students throughout Yuma, San Luis and Eastern Imperial Valley.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

“Our College, Career and Military Fair helps the families of Yuma Union High School District understand what opportunities are out there,” YUHSD Superintendent Gina Thompson said. “While we have traditionally hosted the event, students and families are welcome from all over the region. College-going culture is truly for everyone and it starts early, so even ninth and tenth graders should be gathering as much knowledge as they can about what doors may open for them in the future.”

Arizona’s major universities, community colleges, military academies/ROTC representatives, and career technical programs will be present at the event.
