‘Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District’ back up and running after outage

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District reported that the Imperial Irrigation District has restored power at Pioneers Memorial Hospital and the Pioneers clinics.

PMHD and the surrounding neighborhood experienced a power outage that lasted nearly two hours on Monday at approximately 7:50 a.m.

During the power outage the hospital ran on the assistance of generators, the hard work of all employees, city of Brawley safety officials and Imperial Irrigation District employees.

Officials expressed their gratitude to the men and women who worked to keep patients and employees safe and as comfortable as possible during the power outage.

The clinics will begin to see patients again at 1 p.m. on Monday.
