I f you’re looking for weekend plans and you’re into fitness you may want to check out the first annual “Yuma FitXpo United.”

2,000 people are expected to come out to this family friendly affair where over 100 athletes are competing in a variety of different sporting events. The list includes grappling tournaments to bodybuilding to power lifting and that’s just to name a few. In addition to the live sporting events there will be several vendors selling everything from food to active wear to sports equipment.

“It’s Nakoa Fitness, Fuel Fitness and also Hidden Valley Strength. All three of them have come together to put on this competition. I feel like this gives Yuma the opportunity to really train for something. If we can have something here local, where we can also save so much on expenses. We go out of town a lot to compete. We spend a lot of money to go out and compete,” said Amanda Gail, owner of Yuma United Mixed Martial Arts
