Private ceremony for U.S. Senator John McCain

An emotional private ceremony was held for U.S. Senator John McCain Wednesday at the Arizona State Capitol.

The ceremony honored the life of Senator McCain.

Senator Jon Kyl, Governor Doug Ducey, and Senator Jeff Flake spoke at the ceremony.

McCain’s wife, Cindy, and his children were also present.

There will be a public viewing for McCain at the Arizona State Capitol at 2 p.m. A memorial service for McCain is being held Thursday. News 11 will bring that to you live on air and also online.
