Two suspects found with narcotics during search of San Luis home
Two suspects were arrested after authorities found over $60,000 worth of narcotics during a search of a San Luis home early Friday morning.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, a multi-agency task force that included YCSO agents, the Yuma Police Department, Border Patrol, and Homeland Security Investigations conducted a search warrant at approximately 6:33 a.m. at a home located in the 1700 block of E. C Street in San Luis, Ariz.
A YCSO K-9 led to the discovery of around 3.08 pounds of THC edibles, 1.18 pounds of THC oil, 4.86 ounces of THC wax, 1.38 pounds of marijuana, two LSD blotter tabs, and equipment used for manufacturing THC, edibles, wax, and oils. Additional paraphernalia items with characteristics of street sales were also found. The narcotics and marijuana had a combined estimated street value of $60,292.
Two suspects were arrested following the search warrant. 23-year-old Omar Briseno, of San Luis, Ariz., was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for manufacturing a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Another suspect, Kevin Garcia, 23, of San Luis, Arizona, was also arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
