Pet Talk: Meet Kody and Bear

In Monday’s Pet Talk, we meet two animals that just cannot keep still both at the Humane Society of Imperial County.

First is a cat named Kody. This three-year-old stray from Brawley has a lot of energy. He needs a family that will love on him and let him roam around the house on his own. Kody may calm down once he is neutered, which will happen upon adoption. If you have other cats, Kody would make for a great addition to your family. He does really well with other felines. He has been at the shelter since May.

Next is a Rottweiler named Bear. He obviously got his name in reference to his size. Bear is one of those dogs that is just a love bug. Drool and all. Since arriving at the shelter, Bear has lost a significant amount of weight and become a much more active dog. The ideal family for Bear would be one that doesn’t have any other animals so he can have your full undivided attention. He needs a large yard to call his own and a plush bed to sleep on inside at night. He is estimated to be about three-years-old and he arrived at the shelter in April. He is neutered and ready for adoption.

If you are interested in either Kody or Bear, please call the Humane Society of Imperial County at 760-352-1911. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. You can also email the shelter at Ivhumanesociety@gmail.com.
