New Deputy Chief Executive Officer appointed in Imperial County

The County of Imperial has announced that Mayra Widmann is now the new Deputy CEO.

Mrs. Widmann will work under the direction of the CEO assisting with the management of the County Budget & Fiscal Department.

“I am very impressed with her qualifications and happy to hear of her selection of the position. Mayra will be an excellent addition to the Budget & Fiscal Department,” states Supervisor and Chairman of the Board Raymond Castillo.

Mrs. Widmann served as the Vice-President of Finance and Support Services for Sun Community Federal Credit Union.

During her thirteen-years with Sun Community, Mrs. Widmann worked on projects related to budget management, internal and external audits, Core System Conversion and General Ledger software implementation.

She and her husband reside in El Centro with their three children.
