Yuma Fire Department receives water donation

The Yuma Fire Department received a donation of water collected by Firehouse Subs on Tuesday.

YFD personnel were on hand to load the department’s Rehabilitation Vehicle and thank Firehouse Sub’s Catering Manager Tony Rico for the generous donation.

The water will be used to keep firefighters, and citizens hydrated on fire scenes and during other emergencies.

A total of 45 cases were collected.

Firehouse Subs ha a public safety foundation that has helped YFD and other area public safety organizations with thousands of dollars in equipment to increase their abilities to serve the community and protect personnel.
