YCSO deputies seize narcotics in traffic stop

Deputies arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of carrying narcotics inside his vehicle after a traffic stop was made at 32nd Street and Avenue 4E Tuesday afternoon.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle was stopped and Border Patrol assisted at the scene. A Border Patrol canine alerted to the vehicle leading deputies to discover narcotics inside.

The suspect has been arrested and the incident remains under investigation.
