Man arrested on suspicion of stealing electronics from home

Calexico police arrested a bicyclist who is suspected of entering a home and stealing several electronics while the residents slept early Thursday morning.

Police said they were patrolling downtown when they encountered a bicyclist carrying large bags. They discovered that the man had been in possession of several electronic items that had been stolen.

Calexico police learned that the man allegedly burglarized a victim’s home while they had been sleeping.

Authorities said the suspect was also on active probation for the previous burglary.
