Yuma ranks first for least inflation in Arizona

Yuma has ranked number one for the least inflation in the state of Arizona.

This is according to a new study by SmartAsset, a financial technology company, where they discovered the top 50 urban areas with the least inflation in the United States.

SmartAsset analyzed data from 2007 to 2017 to calculate the average change in cost of living and personal income in the urban areas.

These numbers helped determine the change in purchasing power and from there found out which metro areas have seen the least inflation over the past decade.

Yuma ranked first in least inflation, with 18.32% change in purchasing power, according to the SmartAsset study.

Following Yuma in second is Lake Havasu City, Arizona, followed by Sierra Vista, Flagstaff, Tucson, Prescott, and Phoenix.

Yuma ranked 29th on a national scale for the least inflation.
