Dad shoots daughter’s boyfriend in groin

WMT/Pennsylvania – Officials are searching for a man who shot his daughter’s boyfriend inside of a motel room.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon at the Motel 6 on Altamont Blvd. 40-year-old Donald Jenkins Junior came into the room were his daughter and the boyfriend were. The daughter rented the room for two nights. Her boyfriend was sitting on a far bed when an argument broke out and Jenkins shot the man in his groin area and upper leg then fled. The victim was taken to Geisinger.

Police stated that Jenkins might be in the Shenandoah area and encourage anyone with any information on Jenkins whereabouts to contact law enforcement. He faces charges that include attempted homocide, aggravated assault, and burglary.
