A 68-year-old bicyclist is dead after being involved in a vehicle versus bicyclist collision in the 2400 block of West 8th Street Tuesday morning.

An investigation by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office revealed that a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by 61-year-old Luz Alvarez, was traveling eastbound on W. 8th St. Alvarez, of Yuma, collided with a bicyclist who was also traveling eastbound.
