Pet Talk: Meet Hunk and Chunk
In Pet Talk, we meet a dynamic duo that is ready for a new start.
Their names are Hunk and Chunk and they were surrendered to the Humane Society of Imperial Valley back in May. Unfortunately their previous owner, who is older, wasn’t physically able to care for them anymore.
It’s unknown if Hunk and Chunk are related or just bonded due to growing up together, but it’s clear that bond cannot be broken. That’s why they are up for adoption together. Hunk is the older one of the two, believed to be about seven-years-old, where as Chunk is five-years-old and neutered. They both are extremely friendly, well mannered dogs and would be great for a family with kids and or other dogs in the household. This duo needs to be walked on a regular basis, but would do just fine hanging inside the house most days.
If you are interested in this pair, remember they are a package deal, please call the Humane Society of Imperial Valley at 760-352-1911.
They are open Tuesday through Saturday. You can also email the shelter at Ivhumanesociety@gmail.com
