YPD responds to armed robbery at Pizza Hut

The Yuma Police Department is searching for an unidentified suspect who robbed a Pizza Hut restaurant on Sunday.

According to the investigation, a man entered the restaurant at 10 p.m. located at 580 East 32nd Street and revealed his firearm demanding for money.

The suspect then left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money and has not been identified.

No injuries have been reported.

Pizza Hut has released surveillance video of the incident in hopes anyone would be able to identify the suspect.

“He was wearing a black hat, white long sleeve shirt, and a white cloth, some kind of white thing on his face,” said Officer Janet Sanchez with Yuma Police Department. She also adds the suspect was seen running on foot northbound after the robbery.
