Mother and son dance at MCAS Yuma

Family and friends gathered at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma to celebrate the “Mother and Son Dance’ on Saturday.

Mother Kimberly Hill has three sons and said it is important to have events like these within the military community.

“You know were all separated by ranks and we may not get to meet kids that are on the other streets or go to other schools so I think it’s great,” said Kimberly Hill.

Hill said the event was a good way to spend quality time with her kids and that it was a good way to implement morals for the future.

“As a mom of boys you’re raising them to be young men and then men originally, and so you want them to be gentlemen and this is a great first way to get that first impression on them,” said Kimberly Hill.
