Arizona Cardinals fans visit training camp

Fans kicked off Arizona Cardinals training camp by joining the team in the University of Phoenix Stadium on Saturday.

“I’ve been a Cardinals fan since I moved out here in ’94,” said John Arrison, Cardinals fan.

Fans are excited about the new era of Cardinals football and to watch some of their favorite players hit the field.

“I saw big potential in David Johnson. It really sucked. He had a wrist injury, but I feel like this year he’s going to come back and possibly be the best running back this league has ever seen,” said Carlos Martinez, Cardinals fan.

Watching the team prepare for the regular season was not the only things for fans to do. Young fans were able to join the action in the Kids Zone.

Children were able to participate in drills and get their hands on footballs.

Parents called it a great experience.

“It shows them a little bit about the practices and what they go through on a daily basis and what not. So it’s cool for the kids you know what I mean? To definitely experience that,” said Joseph Nava, Cardinals fan.

Kick off for the regular season will be on September 9.
