Yuma-raised veteran who served under ‘American Sniper’ finds success

Tomorrow on Sunrise, we bring you the story of a Navy Seal who served under Chris Kyle, ‘The American Sniper’, and found tremendous success as an entrepreneur.

Eli Crane was raised in Yuma and graduated from Cibola High School. He joined the Navy Seals and was assigned to work under ‘the legend’.

“Before I even got to Seal Team 3, Chris had the nickname ‘the legend’ and when I found out that I was going to work for him, I was like kind of star-struck, like wow that’s pretty cool. Then when I got to know him, I learned how down-to-earth he really was, [and] how much he loved his family,” explained Crane.

Crane later started a business centered around bottle openers, called Bottle Breacher.
