55-year-old man reported missing in Yuma
A 55-year-old man was reported missing since Saturday, June 30th after he was last seen at a local restaurant.
Family members said Basil “Matt” Varner was last seen leaving El Charro restaurant located at 601 W. 8th St. He was intended to meet with a family member at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday but never showed up.
Yuma County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the man’s disappearance.
Varner is described as 6′ tall, and approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans, work boots, a baseball cap, and a flannel button down.
Family members said Varner is in need of his medication.
