Local fans react to LeBron signing 4-year deal with the Lakers!

#LABron is happening and local fans in Yuma have several emotions about the superstar coming to Star Plaza in Los Angeles.

Some fans believe this is the perfect move for the Lakers to become the Showtime Lakers they once were, while others believe LeBron’s move just proves he’s following the ghost of the all-time great, Michael Jordan.

Regardless of what fans think, the deal is done and over with. Now, LeBron James is the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers with a 4-year, $154 million deal, the longest deal James has had since Miami.

Former Laker, Kobe Bryant is happy about the move as he tweeted, “Welcome to the family…#lakers4life.”

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar also welcomed James to the family.

LeBron James now joins the list of Laker greats that follow: Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, James Worthy and Elgin Baylor, just to name a few.
