El Caballeros de Yuma presented with EGRET award

Since 1962, the Caballeros de Yuma have greeted visitors into Yuma from ambassadors to dignitaries.

Since the beginning, the group has grown from 20 to 100 local businessmen who work voluntarily and without pay.

Along with their recognizably vibrant red suit uniform, the Caballeros have made their mark around Yuma through the many sponsored events they hold.

According to the current Presidente of El Caballeros de Yuma, Louie Gradias, his favorite experience with the group has been to promote Yuma and meet more people.

At the Visit Yuma member event, the Caballeros were given the EGRET award as an expression of gratitude in recognition of efforts for tourism.

The Midnight at the Oasis, Balloon Festival and Yuma Marathon are few of many events that Caballeros de Yuma holds to promote growth in the Yuma community.
