Border Patrol agents apprehend its 20th sex offender in over six months

Border Patrol agents in Calexico apprehended a previously deported sex offender after illegally entering the United States on Wednesday

38-year-old Eliseo Orozco-Mansilla of Mexico was arrested and convicted for child molestation out of Grant County, Wash. Orozco was previously removed from the United States on March 2002.

“20 sex offenders in just over six months, shows the impact that our agents make in our communities. That is 20 individuals that residents of California do not have to worry about because US Border Patrol continues to keep our nation safe,” said El Centro Sector Assistant Chief Patrol Agent David S. Kim.

Orozco-Mansilla is in federal custody and will be prosecuted for re-entry after removal.
