Person of interest sought by authorities after making threat

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help to locate a Yuma resident in connection with a threat made towards the Sheriff’s Office.

According to YCSO, Richard Dean made a direct threat towards the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook. Authorities added it happened on Saturday and it was a general threat towards the law enforcement agency.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Richard Dean is asked to contact Sgt. Raul Garcia at the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at 928-783-4427 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous. You can also visit our website at www.yumacountysheriff.org to submit an anonymous tip.
