School districts are announcing their plans about school closures for Tuesday, May 1st.
Crane School District
Crane School District schools will remain open on Tuesday, May 1st after an announcement made on their Facebook page.

Gadsden Elementary School District
As teachers continue to walkout in support of the Red for Ed movement, Gadsden Elementary School District schools will continue to be closed on Tuesday, May 1st.
School cafeterias will be open for students in the community to offer breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
Somerton School District
All Somerton School District schools will be closed for Tuesday, May 1st to assure student safety. School cafeterias will remain open to offer breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Yuma Elementary School District One
Yuma Elementary School District One schools will be closed on Tuesday, May 1st. Cafeterias will remain open to offer students from the community breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Yuma Union High School District
Yuma Union High School District announced that their schools will remain closed on Tuesday, May 1st as the statewide movement for better pay and school funding continues.
Parents and students will be updated with any changes through their notification system, social media, and the district’s website.
The district’s decision regarding classes for Wednesday will be updated by noon on Tuesday.
YUHSD has confirmed graduation dates will remain the same.
