Planned prescribed fire at Senators Wash
The Bureau of Land Management is conducting a planned prescribed fire at Senators Wash on Thursday.
The project will be conducted to reduce vegetation that was cleared from Squaw lake and Senator Wash recreational area.
Smoke may be visible from Yuma but not likely.
The project is set to be finished by noon.
By conducting this project they increase public safety and recreational opportunities to the shorelines of the Imperial recreation area.
