Secretary of Homeland Security to take border wall tour on Wednesday

It was announced Tuesday that Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen M. Nielsen and Arizona Governor Doug Ducey will be present at the San Luis Port of Entry on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

There, they will talk about border security and the National Guard deployment to the Southwest border, according to a release sent by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The Secretary and Governor will take an operational tour of the Yuma Sector border wall system.

The El Centro Border Patrol Sector also released a statement Tuesday that Sec. Nielsen will visit Calexico, California on Wednesday, April 18.

Secretary Nielsen will tour the construction of the border wall and thank DHS employees for their commitment to secure the border, El Centro Sector Border Patrol said.
