Man tries to kidnap two San Luis students

San Luis, Ariz. – Southwest Junior High School officials said a man tried to kidnap two 8th grade female students on Thursday in broad daylight. The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. The person of interest is described as a man approximately 5’7″, white, with blue eyes, and bald with a beard. The person of interest was wearing a shirt with palm trees and shorts, he was driving a mid-sized dark blue truck. School officials said the safety of their students is a priority in the community. The San Luis Police Department and the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office have been contacted regarding this incident. The Gadsden District Administration encourages anyone with any information about this attempted abduction to please call the san Luis Police Department at (928) 341-2420 or the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 783-4427.
