Authorities seek suspect involved in armed robbery
The Yuma Police Department is seeking the suspect involved in an armed robbery that happened at the Wal-Mart located at 2501 S. Avenue B Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.
An initial investigation revealed the man had entered Wal-Mart and approached an associate at the money center desk. The man indicated he had a weapon and demanded money from the associate.
The suspect fled the store and left the area in an unknown vehicle.
The man is being described as Hispanic with a light complexion, wearing a dark-colored short sleeve shirt with a red long sleeve shirt underneath and blue jeans. He was last seen wearing a straw hat and a white bandana.
No injuries were reported from this incident.
