Imperial Valley Agricultural Expo kicks off tonight

A new event connecting and celebrating the Agricultural industry kicks off tonight at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds.

This two day event will take place on Friday March 23 and Saturday March 24.

The exposition will include displays of cutting edge agricultural equipment and technology as well as a kid’s zone hosted by the Farm Smart Desert Research ad Extension center.

The event will also have live local bands, beer and food vendors.

Friday’s dinner will thank Agricultural Educators and sponsors and reveal the winners of the Imperial Valley expo scholarship and grant program. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday March 24, doors open at 11 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Admission and parking is free and the first 500 attendees will receive gift bags.
