Sweet way to welcome spring
It’s the time of year when flowers bloom and the birds seem to sing a little louder while bees hunt for that ever so special nectar.
With the start of s pring , many were looking for their own nectar in the form of free ice cream from one of America’s most famous creameries, Dairy Queen.
The line wrapped around the block Tuesday as DQ workers hustled to serve each and every patron looking to get their free cone. Workers tell us that the company does this every year as a way to celebrate the start of spring.
Our cameras visited some of the ice cream lovers waiting patiently for their turn. Many saw the news on social media and just couldn’t wait, many others just so happened to get a sweet tooth, and were pleasantly surprised that their treats were on the house.
