Homeless to receive free dental care

World Oral Health Day took place on Wednesday March 20, but this week several homeless people in the community will be treated for fillings, cleanings and extractions free of charge.

Crossroads Mission and Picacho Family Dental is teaming up to benefit homeless members in the community on Friday, March 23.

The event will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

After going through the application process twenty-five members from Crossroads Mission have been chosen to receive treatment on Friday.

Sunset Community will also hold their own “Free Dental Day for the Homeless” on Thursday, March 29 , at their Sunset Community Health Mobile Unit located at 944 S Arizona Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364.

This event will be held between 1:30 pm and 5 p.m.

Sunset Community will be seeing up to ten patients free of charge.
