Local BP agents arrest previously deported child molester and three other illegal immigrants
Four illegal immigrants, including a previously deported child molester who was heading from Yuma to Los Angeles, was arrested by Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents.
Agents were working near Quartzsite Sunday when they began tracking four people walking around the Immigration Checkpoint on Highway 95. Law enforcement found out they were Mexican nationals who were illegally in the United States. They were arrested and taken to the Blythe Station. One of the men was identifed as 36-year-old Alonzo Bustos-Trujillo. He was previously deported and convicted of child molestation in Bellflower, California in 2011. Bustos-Trujillo was sentenced to about one year in jail and five years of probation for that crime. He is being prosecuted for re-entry after deportation. The other three Mexican nationals were processed for immigration violations.
