Pet Talk: Meet Misty and Pete

Tonight we meet a cat named Misty and a striking black and white pit bull mix named Pete. Both have the potential to be great pets.

First up is Misty. She is a gray tabby cat that was found as a stray in Somerton. Misty is shy at first, but opens up quite quickly. She loves to interacts and walk around. She also likes her own space and does well in small areas that she can call her own. Friendly with other cats, she would be a great addition to a household that already has felines. Her age is unknown, but she has been at the Humane Society since the beginning of January.

Next is Pete. what a gorgeous dog he is with his silky black and white coat. Pete was an owner turn in. Pete loves to be around people and is a total lap dog. If you are looking for a pet that will lounge with you, but can also keep up with you on daily walks Pete is your guy. Pete needs to be the only pet in the household as his personality is dominant. It’s also important he have a yard to roam around in. He is neutered and has been at the shelter since November. His days are limited so if you are interested in Pete, please don’t hesitate to call and visit him this week!

If you are interested either Misty or Pete, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621.

They are open Tuesday through Sunday and for more information you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @MADISONKYMA
