New Court Executive Officer appointed for Imperial Superior Court

Maria Rhinehart was announced as Court Executive Officer for the Imperial County Superior Court.

Rhinehart, who was appointed by a unanimous vote for the CEO position, has been with the court for 28 years serving as Interim CEO since December 2016.

Born in Los Angeles, Rhinehart’s family relocated to Holtville where she has remained a resident since 1975.

She began working with the Court in 1990 in an extra help position working in the courtroom and became a permanent employee a year later in 1991 as a Courtroom Clerk. In 2002, Rhinehart was promoted to Court Clerk Supervisor and to Court Operations Manager in 2010.

“Ms. Rhinehart has been a valued employee of the Superior Court for over 25 years. While serving as the Court’s Interim CEO, Ms. Rhinehart has demonstrated that she is well suited to the position and that she is committed to serving the Court’s many and varied administrative needs and to promoting access to justice for all members of the public. The Judges and staff look forward to working with Ms. Rhinehart,” Presiding Judge Diane Altamirano said.
