Pet Talk: Meet Casey and Pirate
Tonight we meet a beautiful “torti” cat named Casey and a tennis ball loving Pit bull mix named Pirate.
Casey was an owner turn in brought to the shelter in the beginning of the year. While a lot of tortoiseshell cats are known for their attitude, hence the expression ‘Torti-tude,” Casey is more on the fun loving side. She’s very active, loving to explore and walk around. She would do best in a home without other cats as it’s pretty obvious she like to be queen kitty. She enjoys a nice rub and playing with toys. She is said to be about 1 to 2 years old.
Next we have a black and white pit bull mix named Pirate. What a great dog, his looks are deceiving. Would you have ever guessed that this tennis ball loving pit, is actually a lap dog. He loves to cuddle and be by your side. He is active and would do best with a family that would take him on daily walks and also play fetch with him. Pirate has been at the shelter since November and it’s time he find his forever family. He deserves it.
If you are interested either Casey or Pirate, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday and for more information you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @Madisonkyma
