Hundreds without power in Yuma

There are more than 300 customers in Yuma without power as of Tuesday afternoon.

APS said 281 customers are without power due to a downed power line. Customers affected live within the area of 21st St. and 24th St. from Fourth Ave. to First Ave. APS said customers there should have their power restored by 8:30 p.m.

APS also said about 31 customers are without power following a fire. That is in the area of La Mesa St. and 24th Place, from Barbara Ave. to Donna Ave. The power is expected to be restored in that area at 9 p.m.

New details will be provided as soon as they become available.
