Woman arrested after DUI collision with two homes

A 24-year-old woman was arrested after colliding with two homes on the 2500 block of S. 40th Way at around 4:19 a.m. Monday.

According to Yuma Police Department, Angelica Murrillo failed to control her vehicle and collided with two homes causing significant damage.

Alcohol was determined to be a factor in the collision.

Murrillo who miraculously wasn’t hurt, appeared in court today where the judge let her go due to the state not filing a complaint. However, that’s not to say that a formal charge will not be filed in the near future. On Monday she was booked for an Extreme DUI. She is currently out on bail.

The Yuma Police Department encourages anyone with any information about this case to please call the Yuma Police Department at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime at (928) 782-7463 to remain anonymous. Remember if your information leads to an arrest you may receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
