MVP of the week Koby Fike
This week’s MVP of the week is a Gila Ridge High school senior with heart and resilience.
Koby Fike has a heart of a winner and does not believe in quitting. This mentality has allowed him to succeed in the tough sport of wrestling. He firmly believes in the saying “if you start something, you should finish it,” something he was taught by his family.
After going 33-1 in the season so far, he feels excited for what is to come in this new year as he welcomes his first match of the year on January 5th at the Peoria Tournament of Champions, where he hopes to face his toughest opponent yet, Cibola High’s, Tommy Mommer.
