Man dies after he was hit by a vehicle
The Yuma Police Department has confirmed the man who was hit while crossing a street earlier this month has died.
YPD identified the victim as 22-year-old Alexander Bodine. Bodine died Wednesday. Next of kin has been notified.
The incident happened Friday, November 3, at about 6 p.m. The Yuma Police Department responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at Sixth Ave. and First St.
YPD said the initial investigation revealed a passenger car was traveling east bound on First St. and collided with Bodine, who was crossing First St., heading north bound at Sixth Ave.
The driver of the vehicle had no reported injuries.
