Marvel Comics author thinks Kellogg’s cereal box design is racist

Kellogg’s has apologized after an author accused them of having a racist cereal box design.

Tuesday, Saladin Ahmed tweeted, “hey @KelloggsUS why is literally the only brown corn pop on the whole cereal box the janitor? this is teaching kids racism.” Ahmed has thousands of followers on twitter and the post received thousands of responses. He is an author of several books including the Black Bolt series which is part of Marvel Comics.

Kellogg’s responded on Twitter to his post writing, “Kellogg is committed to diversity & inclusion. We did not intend to offend – we apologize. The artwork is updated & will be in stores soon.”
