Power outage is affecting over 1,800 customers

More than 1,800 residents are without power Sunday night. According to the APS Outage map, service has been interrupted to a major power line. The power outage was reported at 7:30 p.m. APS says they are working to restore power in Yuma where residents have been impacted. The areas affected include 12th Street to 26th Street and Avenue D to 33rd Drive.

APS says troubleshooting is underway with an estimated restoration time of 11:30 p.m. the same night.
